Attention all you Vixens who feel massively let down because Daryl Dixon has yet to be in The Walking Dead comics – we have a new name for you: Dexter Collins! Norman Reedus has teamed up with writer/artist Miguel A. Insignares to create a comic series called Monster Town. A brief description of the story-line from the Monster Town website…
Set in 1950′s Arizona, MONSTER TOWN features Dexter Collins (Norman Reedus), an ex-con, greaser who returns to his hometown after a ten year absence. His attempt at reconciling with his old flame and estranged father are short lived after a mysterious meteorite transforms the local townspeople into ravenous, mutated monsters. When the monsters attack, will the former outlaw be the town’s saving grace or its ultimate demise? MONSTER TOWN will take you through the journey.
The comic book is set for release in the Fall of 2013, but to tide fans over until then limited edition commemorative Monster Town prints hand-signed by Miguel are now available for sale, and will only be available while supplies last. Being that we Vixens are a charitable bunch, we love that portions from this sale benefit The Hero Initiative, a non-profit dedicated to helping comic book creators in need!
